Atlantis doing flyover of International Space Station
Pilot Tony Antonelli is now maneuvering Atlantis in a one-lap flyover of the International Space Station.
The vehicle is about 458 feet away from the outpost.
It's providing one last chance for the six-member veteran crew to get photos of the station and the Russian Soyuz rocket parked there.
The astronauts will send the images back to ground crews for inspection, but are expected to take some personal snapshots while they have the chance.
This is Atlantis' 11th and last scheduled flight to the station.
Only two flights remain before the shuttle program is retired later this year.
