Live: Launch team still studying pictures of ice and watching cloud near launch pad

LIVE IMAGES: Refresh this page for updates and the latest live images from cameras at Kennedy Space Center's launch pad 39A and the Air Force 45th Space Wing's weather channel.

The launch team is studying ice growing on a propellant line outside the space shuttle orbiter.

An inspection team went out to collect some additional pictures and other measurements. The NASA commentator says it may be OK to fly, but discussion is continuing.

NASA has not officially cleared the ice issue. It remains a constraint to the launch team coming out of the current built-in hold.

The countdown clock remains in a hold at T-minus 9 minutes.

The launch team is also carefully watching a growing cloud formation near the pad. Right now, the weather remains "green" for flight today. But it is being watched.
