Live: Astronauts boarding Discovery

The seven astronauts are boarding the shuttle, one by one, with help from a team of Kennedy Space Center workers called the close-out crew.

You can see them in the live video broadcast above assisting each astronaut with their flight suits and then helping them board the shuttle. Inside the crew compartment, the close-out crew members are helping strap in the astronauts.

At the Launch Control Center, shuttle team members are discussing an instrument reading that seems out of line, but they suspect it just means that a switch has been accidentally bumped by one of the boarding astronauts.

It's a little over three hours until the scheduled 7:43 p.m. launch. There are no technical or weather issues of note yet.
