Falcon 9 static fire reset for noon today

SpaceX has pushed back this morning's planned Falcon 9 engine test firing from 9 a.m. to around noon.

A company Webcast of the static fire at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station is set to begin at 11 a.m.

You can watch it here.

No reason was given for the delay.

SpaceX on Thursday rolled the rocket and Dragon spacecraft out of a horizontal hangar and erected the rocket's Launch Complex 40.

The two-second test firing of nine first-stage engines is part of a full dress rehearsal of a launch planned Tuesday morning.

The flight is the first under a NASA demonstration program leading up to commercial deliveries of cargo to the International Space Station.
