KSC Visitor Complex also closed today

The water main break that has closed Kenned Space Center this morning has also shut down the KSC Visitor Complex, located just outside the center gates on NASA Parkway West (State Road 405).

The U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, located six miles west on the mainland, is open.

"We hope to open the Visitor Complex as soon as possible," says an update on the Visitor Complex's Web site.

The complex will not reopen today, but the Hall of Fame is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

More than 1.5 million people each year visit the Visitor Complex, which is run by Delaware North Companies.
