More from the local space jobs summit, from reporter Keyonna Summers
At one of several table discussions dedicated to "talent support networks," participants brainstormed on ways to support displaced workers who will be searching for jobs later this year.
Laura Canady, community development director for the city of Satellite Beach, said her group is kicking around the idea of a reverse job fair, in which workers with various skills gather at a designated location and businesses come to them.
"It's a way to maximize the resources that are going to be available to recruit workers," she said.
They haven't gotten into specifics yet, but Canady said the group is also thinking of ways to create a place where workers can go for training on how to transfer their current skills to a different employer within the same industry.
Group members include representatives from small businesses, planners, a group that offers training on a mass scale and real estate agents who could help find space to facilitate the training.
Linda Fowler has just instructed groups to take 15 minutes to begin thinking of steps they can take over the next 30 days to accomplish some of their goals.

Yet another complete waste of time by these losers.
HINT: All the retraining in the world will NOT amount to anything if there are NO companies here to hire these people.
Just what are these leeches doing to BRING COMPANIES HERE?
Bubkiss.
