Doesn't ice evaporate in a vacuum?

Water ice which is cold as perm. darkness in space (colder than -250 deg F) doea not sublimate (evorporate). Remember comets are latgly water ice and they have ben around for billions of years.

Glad to see Gaetano still has plenty of time on his hands......
Must be nice not to need to go to work everyday...you know to have the time to sit at home and spam the crackpot ideas and false (debunked or outright fantasy) claims that got you the long vacation from our space program in the first place.

In response to Bruce.....Yes Ice evaporates in space. The process is called Sublimation.
