Watch live: Post-launch news conference

NASA officials are expected to begin a a post-launch news conference at 7 p.m. at Kennedy Space Center.

Certain to be discussed: what appears to be at least minor debris damage to Endeavour's heat shielding tiles from shedding ice or external tank foam.

The picture at left shows three white marks where ice or external tank foam apparently struck the orbiter's belly, near its forward attachment to the tank.

NASA analysts will review that and thousands of other images for evidence of debris strikes over the next few days.

More pictures will be taken from the International Space Station before Endeavour docks Friday.

You can watch the briefing live here. Just click on the NASA TV still image on the right side of the page to launch a viewer.
