Live: Crews begin fueling up Endeavour

Fueling of the space shuttle Endeavour has begun.

Launch crews at the Kennedy Space Center have begun pumping super-cold propellants into the external tank. The liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen should fill the tank within the next three hours. They got started a few minutes late but that will not be a big problem.

NASA aims to launch the shuttle and her crew at 6:51 p.m. this evening, weather-permitting. The last two attempts (Saturday and Sunday) were foiled by stormy weather conditions here on Florida's Space Coast.

We'll also be watching the fueling closely for the kinds of leaks in the fueling system that have thwarted several other countdowns in recent months. Stay tuned.
