Live at KSC: No technical problems; storms close

Endeavour remains "no-go" for a 7:13 p.m. launch at the moment because of storms within 20 nautical miles of Kennedy Space Center's landing strip.

The storms could even get within 10 miles of launch pad 39A, which would be another violation of launch rules. But's it's possible they could dissipate or clear the area in time for launch.

NASA has cleared two minor issues presented earlier by the Final Inspection Team.

They included a small amount of slushy ice build-up on an umbilical cord seal near the rear of Endeavour, and a slightly loose thruster cover.

The countdown is in a planned hold at T minus nine minutes.
