Live At KSC: 747 & Atlantis Begin Space Coast Tour

The 747 and Atlantis just flew by the Kennedy Space Center shuttle runway about 6:29 p.m., heading south for what appears to be a grand tour of the Space Coast and its beaches.

Mounted atop the modified jumbo jet, Atlantis is on the last leg of a two-day trip back from Edwards Air Force Base in California.

Now would be a good time to go outside and gaze into local skies.
