Live At KSC: Atlantis & 747 Arrive At KSC At 6:54

The 747 and Atlantis just rolled to a stop on Runway 15 at Kennedy Space Center, winding up a two-day cross-country ferry flight from Edwards Air Force Base in California.

The orbiter and its 747 flew south of its shuttle homeport and then over Space Coast beaches before making a swing by launch pads 39A and 39B on the way to NASA's three-mile shuttle runway.

The shuttle returned after a wildly successful fifth and final mission to service NASA's flagship Hubble Space Telescope. Its next flight: an International Space Station assembly mission scheduled for launch in November.
