NASA mission managers just waved off the 1st opportunity to land at Kennedy Space Center today.
The weather around Cape Canaveral was deemed too unstable to proceed with a 9:15 a.m. NASA now is targeting a 10:54 a.m. opportunity at KSC but is keeping open the option of sending the shuttle and its crew to Edwards Air Force Base around the same time.
