Live At KSC: NASA Waves Off 1st Landing Chance

NASA mission managers just waved off the 1st opportunity to land at Kennedy Space Center today.

The weather around Cape Canaveral was deemed too unstable to proceed with a 9:15 a.m. NASA now is targeting a 10:54 a.m. opportunity at KSC but is keeping open the option of sending the shuttle and its crew to Edwards Air Force Base around the same time.
