With the sun rising again in orbit, shuttle Discovery's astronauts have begun unfurling the International Space Station's last solar array wing. Motion began at 12:35 p.m. EDT.
Deployment of the station's seventh wing this morning went off without a hitch.
The eighth and final wing would complete the station's power supply.
The folded arrays are extended in the heat of the sun to keep the array's pleats from sticking together.
As before, the final array will be extended halfway, then allowed to "bake" in the sun before proceeding.
