The temperature out at the shuttle runway is about 46 degrees, about six degrees chillier than yesterday morning. That's great news because Fossett needs cold dense air near the ground for the heavy catamaran-like airplane to get off the ground. Winds remain perfect for a flight today too.
The runway is bathed in floodlights and surrounded by fire and rescue teams.
Fossett is set for 7 a.m.
