The technicians are packing Fossett for the trip, and he's not taking much with him on the 80-hour journey. As the mechanics top off the fuel in GlobalFlyer, the ground team just loaded Fossett's bags into the cramped cockpit. The luggage amounted to a couple satchels that are far smaller than your typical piece of carry-on luggage. A carton loaded with strawberry-flavored Slim Fast milkshakes just got tossed in as well.
