Is Dan Barry too honest for survivor?

Dan Barry survived another week on the reality television show Survivor, but a strain already is developing within the four-man group that he has joined. Their pledge to stick together, and vote together, faced a test this week as Barry tried to expand the group to five to include one of the women in his tribe. The other men in the so-called "alliance" went along at first. Later, after losing a challenge and learning they would face the task of voting someone off the show, the other three men in Barry's group changed their minds. They pushed him to vote with them, but Barry said he had given a promise to the woman and he was going to keep it. That woman, Ruth, was voted off the show moments after Barry took his stand. It's unclear where that leaves him in coming weeks. His rationale was simple: he gave his word. The cast of 16 is now down to 12 still vying for the million-dollar prize.
