Descent to begin soon

Steve Fossett and GlobalFlyer are just about over Strumble Head on England's westernmost coast, the point where the flight plan calls for him to start descending toward the Earth. Descent is aided by parachutes because, according to airplane maker Scaled Composites, GlobalFlyer is too aerodynamically perfect to slow down otherwise. Stay tuned for udpates as landing approaches.
