Brevard County should have voted for Obama and he would have voted against Bush's decision to end the Shuttle Program.
All these nut-ball Republicans against the Govt Health Care Program didn't realize that their negativity toward others who were in favor of another Govt Program (Public Option Health Care) would come back to haunt them. Karma is a bee-otch isn't it? Now they want to have President Obama (who they didn’t vote for) give them a bail-out in the form of a Glorified Social Welfare Program (Space Program).
Call Kosmas and demand Public Option Health Care because you are going to need it after you loose your job.
If those affected by this had a lick of sense they would get behind the President and protect themselves from the Republicans.
Lobbyist pay Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Neil Boortz, Michael Savage, Bill O'Reilly, and Glenn Beck to turn you away from the President because the President means to actually help people that Bush harmed for 8 years.
Lobbyist that pay Limbaugh and the like are not your friends, they could care less about you but want your vote because the Rich folk need it.
Hmmm... Rich folk need it? Pelosi is rich. Obama is rich. Reid is rich. Rangel is rich. So many Democrats are RICH!!! So, by definition, you must be doing the bidding of rich people when you proclaim their policies. You must be indoctrinated by rich people because you desire the same things they do.
I'll be happy to have that healthcare when I don't have a job! I'll go into forclosure, stop buying things I buy now, have no food, need to live off the charity of friends and family, and I'll be depressed! But I'll have my free healthcare!! It won't matter that I'll have nothing else; the day I injure my big toe stubbling through my darkened house because the electricity was shut off because I didn't pay my bill, I will be able to go straight to the ER because Obama will pay for it... from his stash!
Thank you Democrats and President Obama for caring about getting me free healthcare when I'm jobless instead of focusing on getting the job market back up so that I could keep the great healthcare I currently have, spend money on frivalous items, and be happy with life! You are wonderful people.

And another thing: They know nothing about the history of the Shuttle retirement program and how the Constellation program is in reality the preservation of the space program effort.
Could-have, Would-have, Should-have... Obama would have voted against shutting down NASA's shuttle program too.
Obama IS trying to kill the Constellation program which is in effect some of the last remanents of the Shuttle program. So trying to say that Obama would have saved the Shuttle program is a joke. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

Look,even I may, and i write this with some regret, recognise that Ares 1 is probably done with. But, as i have written on an earlier posting of another article, orion and ares 5 need to be continued. orion is the only one of all the ships proposed that can go farther than low Earth orbit and Ares 5 the only rocket on the drawing boards for such ambitions.
Moving ahead with Shuttle flght termination makes sence in the long run, even amid short term pain. America cannot continue
to oparate a spacecraft that has to be verified to be safe to come down every time before it can come back home, its ambarassing an a source of shame for US technology and space
preeminance. So lets move on as soon as possible and lets get to Mars via the Moon s far side.
