Historic Shuttle Photos Gathered In Gallery

FLORIDA TODAY photographer Michael R. Brown has seen it all when it comes to NASA's space shuttle program, and we'd like to share the front row seat he has had since well before the maiden launch of the Space Transportation System on April 12, 1981.

Brown has been shooting shuttle launches as well as roll-overs, roll-outs, roll-backs and roll-arounds since 1978. With the 30th anniversary of the shuttle program approaching, Brown pulled together a Gallery of Historic Shuttle Photos.
