United Launch Alliance will make a second attempt to launch a Delta IV Heavy rocket and secret surveillance satellite at 5:58 p.m. Sunday.
A first launch attempt scrubbed Friday when irregular temperatures were detected in two of the rocket's three first-stage boosters during fueling.
Engineers believe faulty sensors were responsible and the rocket is ready to go.
After rolling back the 330-foot mobile service tower at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Launch Complex 37, launch teams will again try to fuel the 23-story rocket around 1 p.m. Sunday.
Launch of the nation's most powerful liquid-fueled rocket and a classified National Reconnaissance Office payload is planned about a half hour after sunset.
The weather forecast is 90 percent "go," with a slight possibility that ground level winds could exceed a 20-knot liftoff limit.
