Shuttle Unveiling, Bolden News Briefing On Tap

NASA will unveil Endeavour at its Kennedy Space Center launch pad today as countdown clocks tick toward a planned launch early Sunday of six astronauts on the last major International Space Station assembly mission.

Endeavour and its crew remain scheduled to blast off from Launch Complex 39A at 4:39 a.m. Sunday, the middle of a 10-minute opportunity to send the shuttle off on a ground-up rendezvous for a docking at the international outpost.

The huge Rotating Service Structure at the pad is scheduled to be back away from Endeavour at 8 a.m. Refresh this page to see the move in sequential still video images on the live video camera view on the left above.

Also coming up: NASA Administrator Charles Bolden will hold a news conferences at 10 a.m. Saturday to discuss President Obama's plan to cancel Project Constellation and the road ahead for the nation's space program. I hope all the space workers that supported our President who wanted change, received the change they expected for our Great Space program.....DeltaDog

President Obama is making a serious mistake cancelling the Space Shuttle. President Obama is like President Nixon, who cancelled Project Apollo and scrapped the Saturn V production facilities.

President Obama could have saved the Space Shuttle; but, he does keep his word to Florida voters.
