I wonder if he is going to tell the astronauts that they are going to be out of a job by the end of the year also???
Hi guys! Cut your funding because we don't think your mission is important. I know the shuttle is essential in keeping the station in orbit but those are the breaks. Four to 5 billion a year would keep you flying but.... But congratulations. You guys are my heroes. Post it to the teleprompter.
Obama lost in space?
Obama: Guys congrats on the successful mission thus far, unfortunately I have cancelled the program while you have been gone and you cannot return. It stops now!
Crew: Houston... we have a problem!
Houston: (radio silence)
"Guys, you've heard about me cutting the manned space program, but I want to reassure you--the good news is that we have a contract with the Russians to give us access to the station until 2012, and the REALLY good news is that when the contract is up and they plan to raise the prices, it will be a different president's problem."
Why call the astronauts??? Obama really doesn't care about space,so why call them up??? So glad I didn't vote for him...
