Astronauts Hold Q&A At Launch Pad



Discovery's astronauts are undergoing emergency training at launch pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center today as NASA gears up for a two-day practice countdown.

The astronauts will be holding an informal Q&A with the media at the pad at 8:40 a.m. You can watch it live here in The Flame Trench. Discovery's astronauts are tentatively scheduled to blast off Aug. 25 on an International Space Station outfitting mission.

The crew is led by mission commander Rick "C.J." Sturckow and includes pilot Kevin Ford and includes mission specialists Nicole Stott, Christer Fuglesang of the European Space Agency, Danny Olivas, Jose Hernandez and Patrick Forrester.
