This just in from Eun Kyung Kim in Washington:
Charles Bolden, the former astronaut picked by President Barack Obama to become the next NASA chief, will have to wait a bit longer before the U.S. Senate votes on his nomination.
No word yet on when it will come, but officials said the U.S. Senate panel won't take it up today.
Bolden received widespread support during his confirmation hearing last week before the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation.
If approved, Bolden would be NASA's first African American administrator.
