Canadian astronaut Julie Payette was the last of Endeavour's seven-person crew to board the shuttle this afternoon. The crew members - three in the mid-deck, and four above in the flight deck - are seated with their backs to the ground and legs up, a relatively difficult posture to hold for several hours.
Payette is seated next to Chris Cassidy behind commander Mark Polansky and pilot Doug Hurley in the flight deck. Below them are mission specialists Tim Kopra, Tom Marshburn and David Wolf.
Weather remains a concern for a planned 6:03 p.m. liftoff.
A storm to the northwest is dissipating, but a low pressure area to the northeast is blowing anvil clouds back toward Kennedy Space Center.
