First Lady Michelle Obama seems to be expressing confidence in her husband's selection for the next NASA chief.
During a commencement speech today to a Washington high school, the first lady referred to the president's nominee as "Administrator Charles Bolden." She also spoke as if he already has the job.
"As the new head of NASA, the first African American to hold this post, Administrator Bolden is going to lead our nation's exploration of the moon, Mars and beyond," she told graduates of Washington Math Science Technology Public Charter School at a ceremony on the Howard University campus.
Bolden was nominated on May 23 by President Obama. He must be confirmed by the full Senate before he can officially lead the space agency.
Although he has been making the rounds on Capitol Hill, answering any questions from lawmakers, a confirmation hearing for the former astronaut and retired Marine Corps general has yet to be scheduled.
Because of the involved paperwork, considered routine in a presidential nomination, a hearing is not likely for several weeks. Most likely, it will take place in early July.

The Conservative Republican Party is going down the drain because of being Hi-jacked by the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.
I heard Sean Hannity today bad mouthing the president thereby embolding our enemys and stating that he would attack Iran if he was the president even though he knew that Israel would drag us into a long drawn out war that would kill many of our troops.
So as you can see Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are nothing but mouthpieces for Huge Corporations that stand to profit from continuous wars at the expense of our military.

These President Hate Mobs are now being watched by Homeland Security and even the UK is starting to ban the Radical Right Wing Radio Host from entering their country.
If you want the Republican Party to rebound you are going to have to ditch Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh the Fascist Corporate Mouthpieces.

The First Lady, who knows nothing, nada , zilch about space exploration approves of her husband's selection of the next NASA chief!
Next we'll have the two Obama kids give their approval.
What does Michelle O'Bama know about the space program? For the first time in her adult life she notices NASA with the choice of a black astronaut as chief.
The greatest thing is no matter what race, creed, nationality, or political affiliation, God loves us and has given us a chance through Christ to accept atonement for our ignorance, our foolishness, our sinfulness, our rebellion. Lets hope that Rush, Sean, liberals, conservatives will all come to realize we are God's children and act accordingly to His will and not of our own.

She couldn't have picked Bolden out of a line-up of two people. Why does her opinion matter at all?
I like Obama, to a point, and believe (hope) he will our country well in the long run.
Sometimes, image is everything and the office of the president
has ALWAYS been figurehead. But he's a good change of image!

Since assuming office, has Obama said where he wants NASA to go once the Shuttle is retired?
