Live at KSC: Atlantis hatch closing coming up

The closeout crew about to close Atlantis' hatch as the astronauts are strapped in at preparing for at 2:01 p.m. launch.

A red team is returning from the launch pad after checking a deflector in the flame trench. Apparently, there is no issue.

"They saw what they needed to needed to see and found what they were looking for," said NASA TV commentator George Diller, who is positioned inside the Launch Control Center.

"No further issue there, so we press on."

The planned 2:01 p.m. launch of Atlantis on a final mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope is moving toward launch. The weather is virtually perfect.

The seven-astronaut crew is on board Atlantis being strapped in their seats.

Here is a tip for you.

Don't link the same live video auto-playing flash applet 3 times on one page - all 3 play the live feed at once meaning you can't understand any of it as they all talk over each other, doh!
