A new expedition crew and a returning space tourist are scheduled to dock at the International Space Station this morning and you can watch live coverage of arrival right here in The Flame Trench.
Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka, American astronaut Michael Barratt and billionaire software developer Charles Simonyi are due at the outpost at 9:14 p.m. Simply click the NASA TV box on the righthand side of the Page to launch our NASA TV viewer and live coverage beginning at 8:45 a.m.
The trio launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Thursday.
NASA mission managers, meanwhile, are keeping close tabs on the weather at Kennedy Space Center as Discovery's astronauts prepare to make a supersonic dive back through the atmosphere and land at 1:39 p.m.
Forecasters say there is a chance thick clouds might sweep over the three-mile landing strip at KSC at landing time. High winds also are expected, but a headwind or tailwind -- rather than a more dangerous crosswind -- is anticipated.
