The joined crews of shuttle Discovery and the International Space Station will fielded questions from reporters around the globe in a space-to-ground news conference that we'll be webcasting live here in The Flame Trench.

Eight U.S. astronauts, a Russian cosmonaut and the first Japanese space flier to start a long-duration stay on the station will take part in the briefing, which is scheduled to begin at 1:05 p.m. EDT.

Simply click the NASA TV box on the righthand side of the page to launch our NASA TV viewer and live coverage of the event.

A replay of President Obama's call up to the crews will be replayed following the news conference.
