Atlantis likely will receive final clearance for launch, though weather could delay the Thursday launch attempt until Friday. Air Force forecasters predict a 60 percent chance of unfavorable weather on Thursday, while the weather improves to 80 percent favorable on Friday.
A decision to delay the launch would likely not come until just before tanking at 5:20 a.m. on Thursday, NASA test director Steve Payne said today.
