While skies were temporarily clear, showers were moving in from the south.
"We're looking at a couple of rainstorms," said Lt. Col. Patrick Barrett, Air Force forecaster. "It looks like they'll be in the area right about launch.
"We cannot launch through precipitation."
While the 60 percent chance of conditions preventing launch remains unchanged, forecasters expected weather conditions to degrade into mid-morning.
"That's when the sea breeze develops," said Barrett.
If delayed 24 hours, Wednesday's launch time would be 11:15 a.m.

11:38 a.m. - launch
11:46 a.m. - main engine cutoff/orbit
