Post-MMT briefing moved up to 4:30 p.m. EDT

After inspection of the wing edges and nose cap, the shuttle's robot arm was berthed for the night.

The Mission Management Team meeting ended earlier than expected, so a post-meeting briefing will be held at 4:30 p.m. EDT.

MMT Chairman John Shannon will discuss Discovery's first day in space. Preliminary reports of the thermal protection system showed no obvious damage to the thermal tiles on the shuttle's underbelly.

Stay tuned to The Flame Trench for coverage of the briefing.

Discovery executed a good rendezvous burn at about 3:30 p.m. and the crew prepared to go to sleep at 5:38 p.m.
