Steve Fossett needs some shuteye.
After nearly 80 with nothing more than catnaps lasting a few minutes, Fossett had an easy answer for someone who had asked what's next for the man with 100-plus records.
"A good night's sleep," Fossett said, according to KSC spaceport development manager Jim Ball, who was at Kent International Airport for the landing.
Fossett made an emergency landing at Bournemouth and Richard Branson took one of the chase planes from the flight over to pick the record-breaking adventurer up. Fossett flew back to Kent for a brief talk with the team, friends and the news media.
