Fossett flight reset for Wednesday

American adventurer Steve Fossett will make a second attempt Wednesday to take off on what promises to be the longest flight in aviation history.

Piloting the Virgin Atlantic GlobalFlyer, Fossett is planning to take off from the shuttle runway at Kennedy Space Center between 6:41 a.m. and 7:06 a.m.

An initial attempt was scrubbed at 6:50 a.m. today when a fuel leak cropped up just before a planned launch. Engineers are replacing a leaky gasket and will have the plane ready to fly Wednesday morning.
