FAA expert to speak at Space Club

George C. Nield, associate administrator for Commercial Space Transportation at the Federal Aviation Administration, will be the guest speaker for the National Space Club meeting at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Radisson at the Port, Cape Canaveral.

He will speak on the future on commercial space transportation.

Nield has over 30 years of aerospace experience with the Air Force, NASA and industry.

A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Nield holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University and an MBA from George Washington University. He is also a flight test engineering graduate of the USAF Test Pilot School. He is a registered professional engineer and a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
