NASA is still waiting for stormy weather to clear before retracting a 10-story service structure at Kennedy Space Center's launch pad 39A, unveiling Endeavour on the eve of its 25th and final flight.
Thunderstorms sweeping through the area prompted a delay in the retraction of the Rotating Service Structure at 7 p.m., and engineers and technicians have been waiting until conditions are acceptable to make the move.
So far there has been no obvious damage from storms that swept through earlier tonight. NASA now is targeting 11:45 p.m. as the time the move might begin.
NASA says the timing will still allow a 3:47 p.m. launch Friday.
