Endeavour Astronauts Set To Fly Today To KSC

The astronauts who will fly NASA's penultimate shuttle mission will arrive at Kennedy Space Center today just before NASA picks up a countdown to the planned launch Friday of Endeavour on its 25th and final flight.

A countdown status briefing will air on NASA TV at 10 a.m. NASA Test Director Jeremy Graeber, STS-134 Payload Manager Joe Delai and Shuttle Weather Officer Kathy Winters will brief the news media on the launch forecast and plans to pick up the countdown at 2 p.m. Call to stations in Firing Room No. 4 at the Launch Control Center.

At 12:15 p.m. today you can watch the arrival at KSC of mission commander Mark Kelly and his STS-134 crew. Kelly will be flying to KSC with pilot Gregory "Box" Johnson and four mission specialists: Greg Chamitoff, Andrew "Drew" Feustel, Michael Fincke and Roberto Vittori of the European Space Agency.

Launch remains scheduled for 3:47 p.m. Friday.
