NASA managers today have given a "go" to launch the Ares I-X flight test Tuesday morning.
The launch will be targeted for 8 a.m., the opening of a four-hour window.
The decision concluded a Flight Test Readiness Review begun this morning at Kennedy Space Center.
Ares I-X mission manager Bob Ess and launch director Ed Mango are scheduled to hold a news conference at 4 p.m. today to discuss the launch preparations.

There's a 60-percent chance that weather won't cooperate Tuesday.
A launch attempt could be made Wednesday, if necessary, and possibly Thursday pending negotiations with the Air Force's Eastern Range.
