External tank cleared for July flight

NASA managers have deemed the redesigned external tank safe for flight, clearing the way for a July 1 launch to the International Space Station. The decision came during a design review today. Engineers and managers have been going over the wind tunnel test data and related analyses to determine whether it was safe to fly the tank without the so-called PAL ramps. Here's the full report.
