New batteries installed at International Space Station
Astronauts finished installing the final two new batteries aboard the International Space Station.
The task was completed about three hours after Mike Good and Garrett Reisman started the final Atlantis spacewalk.
These batteries were the last of 12 that needed to be replaced.
Four were swapped out during a spacewalk Wednesday. The first six were replaced back in July on the STS-127 mission.
The 375 pound batteries were in place for 10 years. They outlasted their six-year life expectancy.
Good and Garrett are now packing up tools and supplies they used for the spacewalk, which is scheduled to end about 1 p.m.
