Final spacewalk for Atlantis complete
Atlantis astronauts completed their third and final spacewalk of the mission.
The 239rd spacewalk for the U.S. space program ended at 1:13 p.m. and lasted six hours and 46 minutes.
During that time Mike Good and Garrett Reisman replaced two decade-old International Space Station batteries and installed a backup ammonia cooling jumper.
"It was three great, fantastic EVAs. We appreciate all your work," mission control said.
Atlantis' three spacewalks lasted 21 hours and 20 minutes.
Good has now completed four spacewalks for a total of 29 hours and 53 minutes.
This was Reisman's third spacewalk. He now has 21 hours and 12 minutes of spacewalking time.
