Business and community leaders from around the Space Coast are pouring into the Holiday Inn Conference Center for a half-day summit.
Kristin Bakke, president of Lead Brevard, said more than 270 people registered for the event. More community members might show up for the public event.
Following a continental breakfast, Brevard Workforce President Lisa Rice will open the program at about 8:30 a.m.
That will be followed by a panel discussion, titled "The Current Reality" and moderated by Lynda Weatherman, president of the Economic Development Commission of Florida's Space Coast.
Panelists are:
-Brevard Public Schools Superintendent Brian Binggeli
-Frank DiBello, Space Florida
-Mark Nappi, United Space Alliance
-Howard Tipton, Brevard County Manager
