Binggeli: KSC layoffs will affect school enrollment

Brevard Public Schools Superintendent Brian Binggeli said the layoffs at Kennedy Space Center will most immediately affect enrollment.

That' why district officials, who earlier this year rezoned boundaries in central and south Brevard to balance capacity and facility use, held off on plans for the north part of the county.

Binggeli also highlighted the district's partnerships with KSC and NASA, the expertise and training the workers provide and their impact on the district's success in science.
