Live in Orbit: Airlock Depressurizing

Depressurization of the airlock has begun for today's spacewalk, which will begin at 11:58 a.m. EDT. Dave Wolf, on his fifth spacewalk, will wear red stripes on the legs of his spacesuit. Timothy Kopra's suit will have no markings for his first spacewalk.

They will lower the air pressure from 14.7 to 5 pounds per square inch.

The pair will work to prepare the Japanese Exposed Facility for attachment to the Kibo module and perform a series of technical maintenance tasks.
