Today's 6:51 p.m. launch is in danger of being scrubbed again because of weather.
There is a possibility of lightning and anvil clouds within 10 nautical miles of launch pad 39A, and triggered lightning after liftoff.
"I think we're just going to run out of time," said Chief Astronaut Steve Lindsey, who has been flying a jet near the spaceport to monitor weather conditions.
NASA Test Director shortly will poll launch managers for launch readiness, but the Eastern Range so far is no-go.
