The lightning threat from a storm passing south of Kennedy Space Center is over, but it has been replaced by a new storm to the north. "There is concern that it may not be moving fast enough to get out of range" in time, said NASA TV commentator Mike Curie.
Endeavour remains on track for a 6:51 p.m. launch, with that weather issue the only obstacle.
There are no technical problems.
Launch managers will hold final readiness polls soon before resuming the countdown from T minus nine minutes, planned at 6:42 p.m.
