Today's Atlas V countdown could be halted with as little as one minute left before the last launch opportunity, at 5:32 p.m.
Launch managers are discussing an option to pick up the countdown from a current hold at T minus four minutes even if weather criteria is "red" because of a nearby thunderstorm
The rocket's computers take over the countdown at T minus one minute, 55 seconds, but can be halted.
