Live in orbit: Tank arrives at storage point

The two tanks were placed in an equipment cart.

Schlegel and Walheim

Spacewalker arrives at storage point.

Riding the space station robot arm and holding the nitrogen tank assembly, Rex Walheim has arrived at the temporary storage position for the tank.

Spacewalker Hans Schlegel climbed from the shuttle payload bay and will help Walheim swap the full tank for an empty tank, which will be stowed in the shuttle's payload bay and returned to Earth.

The nitrogen tank assembly (NTA) sits in the payload bay beneath two European experiments, SOLAR and EUTEF. The spacewalkers will return the old tank to the payload bay.
