Live in orbit: New tank being installed
Waldheim prepares to return the old tank to the shuttle payload bay.

New tank headed for installation
Riding the space station robot arm and holding the new nitrogen tank assembly, Rex Walheim moved the new tank into position for installation. He prepared to bolt the tank in place.
Walheim and Hans Schlegel are about 20 minutes ahead of schedule, having made up a slight deficit in the timeline.
Spacewalkers Schlegel and Walheim will swap the full tank for an empty tank, which will be stowed in the shuttle's payload bay and returned to Earth.

The nitrogen tank assembly (NTA) sits in the payload bay beneath two European experiments, SOLAR and EUTEF. The spacewalkers will return the old tank to the payload bay.
